Join the North Oakland Concert Band for “Swinging with NOCB!” The North Oakland Concert Band, comprising more than 80 dedicated musicians, is one of Michigan's leading wind ensembles. With roots deep in the Lake Orion and Oxford area, the band draws audiences from all of Southeast Michigan. The program features music that will get you in the summer mood, featuring “Havana Nights” by Randall D. Standridge, and Roger Cichy’s “Hangin’ Ten" We are pleased to feature our guest vocalist Oliva Van Goor on several selections including “Blue Moon” by Rodgers/Hart, arranged by Warren Baker, and “Star Dust” by Hoagy Carmichael, arranged by Warren Baker. This event takes place at the Wildwood Amphitheater in Lake Orion, Michigan. Concert begins at 7:00PM.
