Join us on September 22nd for an evening of great jazz featuring jazz vocalist, band leader, and composer Olivia Van Goor!

Olivia will join the Henry Ford Big Band for a two-night show that includes jazz standards, as well as an original big band composition she'll premier at Henry Ford College.

Olivia has built a reputation for not only being an excellent vocalist, but a creative force that has yielded two EPs, first “When the Shadows Fall” in 2021 and the second being “Don’t Be Mad At Me” which will release in August 2023. She has toured throughout the Midwest, and received nominations for Best Vocal Jazz Album of 2021 by the Detroit Music Awards, Outstanding Vocalist in 2023, and recognition by many Michigan-based publications.

Prior to the show on the 22nd, a pre-glow VIP Reception will be hosted in the Student and Culinary Arts Center on campus. This ticket upgrade will include heavy hors d'oeuvres from the HFC Culinary Department as well as beer and wine, courtesy of our reception sponsor Fine Wine Source in Livonia.
