Olivia is a jazz vocalist, composer and educator who’s been hustling in Detroit since 2017 performing at Cliff Bell’s, Aretha’s Jazz Cafe, The Blue Llama and many more. Scott Gwinnell is an award-winning pianist, composer/arranger, and educator born in Detroit, and residing in the Metro-Detroit area. Samuel Chase Harris is an active bassist in the Metro Detroit jazz scene. He studied at Wayne State University under Dan Pliskow, Paul Keller and Larry Hutchinson. This jazz trio is a must see at The Great Commoner. The Great Commoner menu is an experiment in how fresh ingredients playfully dance on the modern palette in a boutique setting.
